At Beyond Pediatric Dentistry we pride ourselves on only using products that we would use in our own children’s mouths. Using the cleanest and safest products has always been a top priority for us and we continue to put a great deal of time in researching and seeking the highest quality products for our patients. We offer fluoride and non-fluoride options for your child during their cleaning, as well as, many other minimally invasive treatment options and products.

i-CAT 3D Imaging
Beyond Pediatric Dentistry is the first pediatric dental office in the Dallas-Fort Worth area that has an i-CAT machine. The i-CAT allows for 3-D scans to be able to capture so much more in one image than a 2-dimensional scan. How does this improve your experience at our office?
With the i-CAT we are able to take a snapshot in time of your child’s airway to assess for a compromised airway. Although this cannot diagnose an airway problem, it can, in conjunction with our exam and other screening tools give us a better picture of your child’s needs.
The i-CAT also has the ability to do ultra-low dose scans which are a better option for the young child.
Sleep Image
We use the Sleep Image as part of our patient’s clinical exam to screen for sleep disordered breathing. Patients take the device home and wear it at night to access their quality of sleep. It is the only FDA-cleared appliance screen for sleep disordered breathing. The Sleep Image allows us to check your child’s status before we start treatment, during treatment and after treatment which gives us measurable results and tangible goals to work toward. We love using the Sleep Image because it allows us to clearly track changes and we can then show our patients all the progress and successes of their treatment.
LightScalpel CO2 Laser
We use state of the art technology at Beyond Pediatric Dentistry including the LightScalpel CO2 laser. The LightScalpel is precise and efficient, and it is regarded as one of the best lasers for soft tissue surgery. The laser emits an intense beam of light that vaporizes the tissue unlike the diode or “hot” laser which must come in contact with the tissue. Babies are able to feed right away after the procedure. Parents are often surprised at how little discomfort their children have after treatment using the LightScalpel CO2 laser.
